The story of Wags
Martin and I are dog owners ourselves, living on a farm, friends would often visit and say they wish their dog had the freedom and space that ours did. With acres of space and no near neighbours to upset with noisy playtimes and barking, Hill Farm is the ideal place for dogs to run free.
We are now happy to offer this freedom of space to other dog owners and their dogs.
Over several months, a lot of hard work was put in to transform Hill Farm into Wags dog daycare, insulation went into the barn, heating for the winter and fans for the summer were added. The whole barn was decorated to provide a bright and airy environment before a rubberised floor was laid for easy cleaning and to soften the blow on dogs joints.
Outside 6ft fencing was erected, graveled areas were laid, and further grass areas were created.
For the staff and visitors a new building was erected to make space for a reception, office area, staff room, kitchen and toilets. The new building will also in time house a shop for dog treats and accessories.
All in all Wags is an ideal place for you and your dog to enjoy the freedom and space that we have to offer.
